Tubing & A Birthday

Our good friend Chris turned 28 yesterday! We celebrated by tubing the Platte River together---which was such a BLAST! It had been about 10 years since I last tubed. We riged all of our rafts together and floated down in one big mass!

After tubing we had a cookout at the Milliron's place.

Burgers and dogs tasted so good after a long day of being on the water.

We enjoyed some drinks while we waited for dinner. Marissa snuck up on us!

This photo well represents the kind of week we've had here in Traverse City= HOT. It has been above 90 for about a week now, and we normally don't run our AC. We broke down the other night and had to turn it on just to sleep. Humidity got the best of us. Maisy really felt the heat....would you want a fur coat on?! What a summer we have had....perfect weather for all of our outdoor activities!
