Over the past few days we have received over a foot of fluffy snow! Our front yard looks much different now than it did a week ago when we had NO snow! It's falling softly this morning and is so beautiful. This is my favorite kind of snow day. Justin and I will be taking advantage of the "white stuff" and go XC skiing today!
Last Sunday- January 2nd- Justin and I went to Good Harbor beach......this time bundled up tightly to brace the 19 degree winds we faced! We walked along the beach to see the sunset. Thinking back 5 months ago....it was in the 80's!! We would be lying on the beach in our suits! Now.....snow suits. But so gorgeous!
The sun was setting on the frozen sandy beach. It was a beautiful sunset that I captured with my new iPhone! It's wonderful now that I can carry it wherever I go and snap a photo without having to lug around my camera!

Staying awake until midnight used to be so much easier! This year, we pooped out shortly after the ball dropped. No party is complete without those horns! Happy 2011! Let's hope it slows down a little more than 2010. Moving into a new house, graduating with my Masters degree, planning a wedding, getting married, and making new friends all made 2010 memorable. Bring on 2011!
