Today marks my 2nd full week after the end of my internship. I have been so busy job hunting, running errands, cleaning, doing laundry, organizing, and wedding planning. I have gotten this small opportunity to enjoy the more simple things in my life. I have enough stressful things in my life, it has been nice to stay at home for a full day and enjoy the happenings around me. For instance- I mowed the yard! Forgetting how much I actually liked doing this sort of thing, I loved my finished product! While it DID take over 2 hours to complete.....It's done! I had to take a few photos of my work :)

The weed whipper would come in handy around the edges.....but that will have to wait until we actually own one.

While emptying one of SEVERAL dozen bags of grass, I stumbled upon some morels.....right in our backyard!!! I never find any mushrooms when we go hunting for them, so this was pretty cool to find 6 big ones right outside our door :)

After much confusion and screw ups thanks to Walmart....our dining set finally arrived! Justin loves to assemble things, so it was an opportunity for me to take a photo. The table looks awesome and matches perfectly with our flooring!! We had dinner for the very first time at our table :) This is another simple pleasure I love.

It had been awhile since I stood at the road and looked at our house. It looks so great in the spring!! Our grass is green, our tree is blooming, and we finally have birds that make our yard their home.

I just LOVE our tree in the front yard. I took photos of it in the winter- it has pretty little red berries on it during the winter season.

I've also been able to enjoy Maisy :) Her spunky, cuddly, and loving personality always keeps me entertained. While she sleeps most of the day in this position....I love being able to play with her and watch her dream.

She loves the mid-day sunshine. She will sleep upside down for hours as long as the sun is there.

Maisy has thuroughly enjoyed having her "mom" home with her. I can tell she is at peace and totally comfortable when i'm home. While I love having a place to go each day, using my mind, and helping people.....it has been nice to be home and "rest" awhile. With all that has happened this year (school, house, engagement, wedding, graduation etc.) i've been able to soak it all in and appreciate where I am in life. I'm healthy, happy, and have two families that have endless support for us. Here's to the next 2 months flying by.....and hopefully landing a job soon :)
