Easter Weekend!

So the pictures are a little out of order! Here is the gang (minus dad who took the picture) at the ball game ---we look toasty! It was a great time.
We spent Easter Weekend in sunny Arizona! This is how we enjoyed Good Friday- and it was good! Poolside at the hotel....with margaritas!
During the month of March in Michigan....you see nothing but gray skies. This is what I woke up to each morning on the balcony....a sunrise!!! The orange blossoms were in bloom too, and the smell was amazing! It was very nice to see palm trees, and flowers in bloom.

I just loved the palms! It was surreal to see snow the morning of our departure, and then 80* weather 6 hours later. Beautiful!
While in Phoenix we went to a NHL hockey game-Phoenix Coyotes Vs. Mighty Ducks. It was exciting! I used to be a huge hockey fanatic, and this may have been my relapse!! I enjoyed being in the cold ice rink air, hearing the crowd scream, and drinking a $5 diet coke! The Coyotes lost 2-1.
We went to an amazing restaurant- Coronado's Cafe. Great food, great wine...great company! Dad and I enjoying the evening looking a little sunkissed!
Play ball! We spent sunday afternoon at a White Sox/Kansas City Roayls spring training game in Tuscon. It was 90* out. My grandparents (gma and gpa Eaton) met us at the game. Theres something about a ball park that's just relaxing....almost therapeutic. Hot dogs, and lemonade.....you can't beat that!

Here is the Coyotes areana....it wasn't too packed but the crowd sure was loud during the fight of the game!

Exciting News!

Everytime I get back from a trip to see Justin I have to make a plan for our next visit. It's hard to not know when the next time will be that you see your significant other. So with the help from my mom (and her sky miles) we scored Justin a free ticket to come and visit me in TC in May! He will be just finishing his spring semester at MSU so a week of relaxation is just what he will need! I'm so excited, and I think my dad is excited to have a guy around for a while too....afterall he does live with 3 women...my mom, me, and the cat :) Hes doomed! It's going to be great!

Justin has just moved into his new house in Bozeman! With the help from his parents, they put up new blinds, and put away all the housewares. The fridge arrived dented and scratched....so it was sent back. He will not have the replacement until this weekend- yikes. Needless to say he's been eating dry goods, and take out. I don't blame him! He is enjoying the new house, but is now coming to realize how much goes into setting up house! The phone calls, the bills, the energy setting things up and moving in......he's pretty exhausted. I think we're all ready for this semester to be over!

This will be the last post before my family leaves for Arizona for Easter break! We are flying out on friday, coming back monday.(unfortunately Justin cannot come with us this time) We will spend it seeing my sister and brother in law, my aunt, and grandparents. It will be a busy 3 days- my dad planned a baseball game, and hockey game for us to attend.....I just want to lie in the sun and get some color! The michigan weather has gotten the best of us all....it's grey, rainy, and cold ALL the time. Time for a vay-cay! Happy Easter everyone!

Spring Break Continued!

Justin took a little break from studying for a photo op with me!
Here is Justin signing the homeowners loan papers! It was a pretty cool thing. He now has alot more responsibility- but he is definity ready for it. No more apartment renting, or noisy upstairs neighbors!
My good friend Kami came out a couple times to hang out~shes a busy girl these days working as a Referal Specialist at Child Care Connections in Bozeman! I miss her!
Megan is another good friend of mine- she has been staying busy working at the Bozeman Deaconess Hospital for an OBGYN. She is a new brunette too! Very cute Megs!
The last photo of my visit....sadly I had to leave beautiful Bozeman. With daylight savings creeping up on my overnight I almost missed my plane out the next morning! Luckily they held the plane for me an extra 10 minutes. (although I wouldnt have minded staying an extra day!) It was great being back in bozeman among the college kids again....there is just such a different feel when you are there. I do miss it alot, and it has been difficult re-adjusting to my life back here in Michigan. We have not set a date yet to visit eachother again- but we are looking at May as a possibility. Justin and I are both enrolling in summer courses so it will be tough to get away. I am ready for spring----and summer!!!

Spring Break-Bozeman 2008!

For my spring break this year I went out to visit Justin at school in Bozeman! It was a great vacation! We spent 6 whole days together on campus, going out to dinner, movies, seeing old friends and concentrating on Justins 2 exams he had while I was there! He was busy studying most of the week- but it was well worth it.
This is Justin's brand new house! His parents decided to make an investment and get a house in Bozeman- Justin needed to move out of his current apartment anyway so this was a HUGE bonus- we are all so excited! I guess you can say this was a very large 25th birthday gift for Justin. Hes a pretty happy guy! He will live here for the duration of his schooling he has left, and then rent it out- or sell it later on.
I had to take pictures inside the house- I just love the fireplace and wood flooring! The house is very cute, and has 3 bedrooms! Very spacious for a college guy---Justin plans on getting roommates.
My favorite part, the kitchen! Complete with granite countertops! A fridge is on the way as we speak. All the appliances are very nice! He will have fun cooking up a storm in this kitchen!
Justin and I went out to one of our favorite places on my last night- Montana Ale Works. You can play pool there and just hang out. A group of our friends came out to hang with us one last time before I had to leave the next morning. We had so much fun together---afterall it had been 2 months since we last saw eachother. It's tough but we are making it!
