Grand Rapids Griffins!

Dad took Justin and I down to Grand Rapids for a Griffins Hockey game! It was at the Van Andel Arena. We had VIP seating in a suite complete with food and drinks! The way to go....

We had our own stadium seating area up top infront of the suite!

This photo should be last....but yes the Griffins won! It was a pretty exciting game for being semi-pro hockey.

This was a glimpse of our great view! There were about 25 others sharing the suite with us.

Justin is enjoying his hot dog! I must admit...they were fabulous!! All the pop, popcorn, cookies, and sanwiches you could ask for.

This was just after the Griffins had scored! Very cool. The Red Wings take players they think are "good enough" for the NHL and bring them to Detroit for "try out games". If the players are good, they keep them in Detroit...if not, theyre sent back to GR.

We had great seats, and the arena was pretty packed for a Sunday game. The crowds there are just as noisy as the Detroit games too! It was a great way to spend a Sunday! I'm sure we'll be back for more games....and hot dogs :)
